The Confiscata
The month in seizures — the significant foreign interdictions the daily brief surfaced, gathered monthly with the commodities, routes, and methods behind them.
What it is
A monthly email that steps back from the daily flow of individual seizures to review the month's significant foreign interdictions — the narcotics, wildlife, bulk cash, dual-use goods, weapons, and counterfeits stopped by customs, police, and navies abroad — and the patterns behind them: the commodities moving, the routes in favour, the concealment methods recurring.
How it relates to the record
Every individual seizure the brief carries is logged to the Aerarium, the standing seizure ledger; the Confiscata is the monthly narrative that reads across it. Its forecast-side counterpart is the weekly Reckoning.
The archive
No Confiscata has published yet. The first runs on the last day of a month, once a full month of significant foreign seizures has accrued; each month's review is archived here as it publishes. In the meantime every logged seizure already lives in the Aerarium.
